After 9 consecutively sold out product management conferences in London and Mind the Product San Francisco 2018, we’ve learned a thing or two about what makes a great conference.
Mind the Product started in 2012 with 600 passionate product managers, designers and developers joining us at the Mermaid Theater in London for a day of inspiration, connection and partying.
The talks were the best talks I’ve heard in a very long time. This was big.

We came back with even more great speakers for a repeat in 2013 and – realizing we’d outgrown our space – in 2014 we moved to a huge new venue, pulling together over 1,000 passionate product people from 39 countries. The first 150 early bird tickets sold out in under 60 seconds.
It was really obvious from the beginning that being together helped, not only move our own careers forward, but move the discipline of product management forward.

In 2015 we added our first conference in Mind the Product San Francisco 2018 with the same mix of amazing content – both inspirational and practical – socializing – over good food and coffee – and discussion on products and innovation that runs late into the night over far too many drinks.
It’s always nice when you’re working on digital stuff in your own company, in your own bubble, that you get to step out of that seat for a while and reflect on what it is that you do every day, but also be around people that are also thinking about the work we do. I wish there was something like this in the US.

Since then we’ve grown to 1,600 attendees from over 40 countries at both conferences, and at this point we don’t want to grow the audience any larger to ensure we can maintain the quality of the experience. We’re excited to be back in 2018 in both London and Mind the Product San Francisco 2018 with even better events for all our passionate product peers!
